For general household garbage and recycling, dumpsters are available at the Clayton town shop and are open on every Wednesday and Saturday of the month from 9 AM to Noon.
There is no charge; however, please keep in mind that we cannot accept large items such as furniture, electronics, appliances, televisions, tires, and fluorescent bulbs during regular recycling days.
The recycling area is closed and cannot be accessed outside of the regular days and hours.
Recycling & Trash Collection Center Hours:
Wednesday and Saturday - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
The Town of Clayton has 2 Clean-ups each year:
Spring clean-up - 3rd Saturday in April
Fall clean-up - 3rd Saturday in September
There are two Large Trash Recycle Days or Clean Up days each year, typically in April and September.
We will be accepting furniture items of all types, smaller amounts of construction materials, and any items that would normally not be taken on regular recycle days.
Cost of recycling items may change from year to year, please check with the town board.
